我厂热处理工部对电业中修配机件的热处理,特别是特种另件的热处理,曾采用不同形式的临时电热丝炉解决了加热问题。它们都是按工件外形要求而临时用一组或几组电热丝及简单的炉胆炉壳组成。它们的特点是:(1)拆装灵活方便,能随时就工件改变,并可适应特殊工件的加热;(2)用调节电流来控制温度,比煤炉或焦炭炉来得稳定;(3)制造成本较低,占地小。其中的主要发热装置是电热丝,我们采用的几种规格和性能如下:(1)镍铬合金(Nichrome),它的成份含镍80%,铬20%,本身耐温约1050~1100℃。(2)镍铬铁合金(Nichrome iron alloy),含镍75%,铬15%,铁10%,本身耐温950~1000℃。
