2006年8月,刘章燕从长江大学毕业后,选择到巴东县最偏远的沿渡河镇童家坪小学任教。学校座落在连绵群山之中的一个小山村,距集镇20多公里,与重庆巫山、神农架交界。学生300多名,由于山大人稀,交通不便,上学最远的要走50多里山路,大多数学生在校住读。孩子们离开了父母的监护,衣食住行、头痛脑热,全部要靠老师照顾。2006年11月,学校安排刘章燕担任政教主任兼少先队辅导员。她把全校学生的家庭情况作了一个大致的了解。在童家坪小学359名学生中,留守儿童就占了253名。其中,有25个单亲家庭,有6个孩子存在不同程度的
