情境创设是指教师为了达成一定的教学目标,通过创设生动有趣的教学场景,调动学生的学习积极性,在情境中让学生经历数学学习与应用的过程,是教学活动中一个重要的环节。在小学低年级数学课堂教学中,创设情境来教学尤其重要。因为小学低年级学生年龄小,好奇心强,活泼好动,但有意注意的持续时间不长,且注意力容易分散,容易被感兴趣的事情和物体吸引。所以在低年级课堂中容易出现上课不专心,问题回答不准确,甚至答非所问,理解不到位等现象。
