郑州最早的印刷所文亦可印刷所,是马昂然、马超然兄弟于民国四年(1915年)在大同路东头路南开办的。在此以前,印刷信纸、信封、书籍、名片都是刻木版印刷的。文亦可印刷所购置了一部石印机,能印表册、书刊,既清晰又好看,从而改变了郑州近两千年的木版印刷的落后面貌。马超然和刘瑞璘都参加过革命党,在辛亥革命以后,看到郑州没有报纸,马超然就动员刘瑞璘在1916年(民国五年)九月十五日创办了第一份《郑州日报》。后来,文亦可印刷所的业务兴盛,添购了对开印刷机和各号铅字,从路南移到路北新门面和楼房(今市图书馆处)营业,承印马超然
