According to the different characteristics of compensation object, a new scheme of harmonic control and reactive power compensation of power system is proposed, which greatly reduces the capacity of high frequency active compensation device. The principle of hybrid compensation is expounded, the control algorithm based on dq decomposition of instantaneous reactive power theory of three-phase circuit is given, and the theoretical analysis is verified by computer simulation
