广州市西关实验小学创办于1939年,地处广州市荔湾区城区中心,办学历史悠久。西关文化博大精深,具有海洋性、领潮性、多元性、开放性、包容性等特质。这所置身于西关文化氛围中的老校,在历史的演变中,虽学制与校名几经变更,却始终走在教育改革的前沿。目前,西关实验小学光复校区占地5622平方米,建筑面积6300平方米;芳和校区占地14000平方米,建筑面积9700平方米。两个校区的教学仪器及设备设施均按国家一类学校的标准进行配备,各类功能场室能够满足教学的需要。学校现有教学班39个,学生1534人。
Guangzhou Xiguan Experimental Primary School was founded in 1939, located in Liwan District of Guangzhou City Center, a long history of running a school. Western culture is broad and profound, with the characteristics of maritime nature, fashion, diversity, openness and inclusiveness. In this historical evolution, the elders who live in the culture of the West Gate have always been at the forefront of education reform though their academic and school names have been changed several times. At present, Xiguan Experimental Primary School campus covers an area of 5622 square meters, construction area of 6300 square meters; Fang and campus covers an area of 14000 square meters, construction area of 9700 square meters. The teaching facilities and facilities of the two campuses are all equipped according to the standards of the first-class national schools. All kinds of function rooms can meet the teaching needs. The school has 39 classes and 1534 students.
