From October 23 to 26, 1989, the Department of Maternal and Child Health of the Ministry of Health held an expert advisory committee on maternal and child health in China, a meeting of the second editorial board of China Maternal and Child Health Magazine, and ten national-level women and children health technical guidance centers in Hangzhou.
