传东汉蔡邕认为,书有二法:一曰疾,二曰涩,得“疾”、“涩”二法,书妙尽矣。“疾”与“涩”是中国书法美学上一对重要的概念,同时也是一对与中国古代哲学密切相关的概念,历来不缺乏对“疾”与“涩”的讨论。但传王羲之《记白云先生书诀》中却有“力圆则润,势疾则涩”一说。对这句话的理解可谓是众说纷纭,尤其是对“势疾则涩”一句,很多人都抱有怀疑态度,认为“涩”可能是误传。因此,本文参考历代书家书论对“疾”与“涩”的探讨,并结合上下文,浅析对“力圆则润,势疾则涩”的理解,以期对创作实践有新的启发。
