音乐的作用,是在理解的基础上才能发挥出来的。音乐形象教学的目的,就是要把学生培养成音乐的知音人。音乐形象教学的关键,是如何使学生的听觉和视觉通过思维使两者联系起来。这里所说的视觉,并非指肉眼真能看见,而是指脑海中浮现出的画面,是一种意境。如听到描写大海的音乐,就如同看到了大海;听到描写战马奔驰的音乐,眼前就浮现出战马奔驰的场景……。这实际是想象的结果。对具有音乐素质的人来讲,产生这种想象是很自然的事;而对中、小学学生来说,却需要教师下一番细致的功夫。
