山东省为加强基层水利工作的经营管理,提高水利的经济效益,积极充实和健全乡镇水利站。到1986年底已建乡镇水利站2398个,人员达到27604人,占全省水利职工总数的37.5％,固定资产达到1736万元,是全省基层水利战线上的一支骨干力量。 1986年全省乡镇水利站,胜利完成了农村水利建设、管理和抗旱、防汛、排涝任务,特别是在农村水利冬修工作中开创了近几年来未有的好局面。冬修中最高出勤劳力比1985年同期多286.4万人,完成土石方比1985年同期多10510万立方米,扩大和改善灌溉面积比1985年同期多410.51万亩,为发展农业生产,抗旱灌溉提供了水源条件。
