自从“人民教育”和“教师报”展开对“全面发展”的讨论以来,已经有了不少教育工作者发表了自己的看法。现在我只就所讨论问题中的一个方面——因材施教能否确定为教育方针的问题,谈一谈自己的想法和看法。任何教育方针的提出都必须有两方面的根据,即理论上的和实际上的根据。这两方面的根据是缺一不可的。如果只有理论上的根据而无实际上的根据,那么这个教育方针就会失去坚实的基础,而成为空洞的口号。如果只有实际上的根据而无理论上的根据,那末这个教育方针就会失去科学上的依据。现在,我们看一看因材施教教育方针的提出,有无理论上和实际上的根据。
Since the “education for all” and the “teacher’s newspaper” have started discussions on “all-round development,” many educators have expressed their opinions. Now I will only talk about my own thoughts and opinions on one aspect of the issue under discussion - whether it can be identified as an education policy. Any education policy must be based on two aspects, that is, theoretical and practical basis. The basis of these two aspects is indispensable. If there is only theoretical basis without any real basis, then this education policy will lose its solid foundation and become an empty slogan. If there is only practical basis without theoretical basis, then this education policy will lose its scientific basis. Now, let us take a look at the teaching of individualistic education, there is no theoretical and practical basis.
