谷殿明是枣强镇杜烟村人,33年前离家到了郑州,一直做燃气具生意。从1997年3月5日起,他率领员工和子女,打出了“天天学雷锋”的旗帜,向市民推出免费修理燃气灶具的服务。15年来,已为当地市民义务修理燃气灶具13万余台,贴补零件等各种花费150多万元,仅维修记录就登记了235本,摞在地上有一人多高。除了维修燃气灶具,谷殿明还资助过手足口病人,并捐建了雷锋塑像,还先后走进1500多个家属院,上门为居民义务维修水管、下水道、水龙头等。由于事迹突出,影响广泛,2002年谷殿明获郑州市“五一”劳动奖章2003年获郑州市劳动模范,2008年被郑州市二七区人民政府授予改革开放30
