何维扑,字诗孙,晚号盘止、盘叟、秋华居士、晚遂老人,湖南道州人。精鉴古画,藏印颇多,有《颐素斋印存》六卷传世。辛亥革命后以遗老身份闲居上海,以书、画自给。此扇节录苏轼诗《咏八境台》。八境台建成后,孔子第四十六代孙孔宗瀚绘图请苏轼题诗。当时诗中描写的八景分别是石楼、章贡台、白鹊楼、皂盖楼、郁孤台、马祖岩、尘外亭和峰山。清代时,八景发生变化,又形成三台鼎峙、二水环流、玉岩夜月、宝盖朝云、储潭晓镜、天竺晴岚、马崖禅影、雁塔文峰。 Ho Victoria flutter, the word poetry Sun, late stop plate, plate 叟, Qiuhua lay, late then the elderly, Hunan Taozhou.
