为国家培养和输送大量可靠的社会主义建设者和接班人,是社会主义高等院校的光荣而艰巨的任务。社会主义高等院校是为社会主义造就各种专门人才的重要阵地,所培养的各类人才不但要有深厚渊博的专业知识和精通熟练的业务本领,而且还必须具有坚定正确的政治方向。所谓坚定正确的政治方向,就是社会主义的政治方向,它具体体现为社会主义觉悟,社会主义理想和信念,体现为坚持和捍卫四项基本原则的自觉性和坚定性。但是坚定正确的政治方向不会自然地形成,而是必须通过系统的综合教育和灌输。《中国革命史》被国家教委确定为高等院校必修的政治理论课,就是实现这种教育和灌输的一项重要的具体措施。因此,按教委的要求,圆满完成《中国革命史》的教学任务,使学生从这门课的学习中受到实际生动的爱国主义和社会主义教育,提高他们的思想政治觉悟,增强其坚持社会主义道路的自觉性和坚定性,是我们从事革命史教学的教育工作者所肩负的严肃历史责任。然而,在实际教学工作中,存在的不利于这门课教学的因素很不少。例如教材内容多、历史跨度大、课时少、教师不足、教学任务重。同时部分学生对学习这门课的意义认识不足,认为学习革命史是政治家和历史学家的事,与搞技术科学的人无关,所以对这门科的学习持一种消极被动的?

However, in actual teaching work, there are many factors that are not conducive to teaching in this course. For example, teaching materials and more content, span of history, less hours, lack of teachers, teaching heavy tasks. At the same time, some students do not have enough understanding of the significance of this course. They think that studying the history of revolution is a matter for politicians and historians. It has nothing to do with people who engage in technical sciences. Therefore, it is a passive passive learning in this subject.
