建筑工程技术专业为徐州建筑职业技术学院主干专业,是学院自1979年1月开始建校首批设立的专业。该专业的前身为工业与民用建筑专业,当时主要面向全国招收高中两年和初中四年中专。1999年3月学校升格为高职学院后改为建筑工程技术专业,招收高中毕业生,学制三年,并设置了建筑工程施工管理、建筑工程造价、建筑结构设计、钢结构技术等专门化方向。该专业在2000年10月被学院确定为产学研结合教育教学改革试点专业；2001年5月,被江苏省教育厅批准为省级第一批高职高专教育教学改革试点专业；2001年10月,被国家教育部批准为国家级第二批高职高专教育教学改革试点专业；2006年5月,被确定为江苏省品牌专业建设点。师资队伍：建筑工程技术专业现有专任教师20人,其中教授3人,副教授4人。硕士及以上学位共15人,其中双师型教师5人,从建筑施工一线聘请的兼职教师10人。师资队伍素质优良,结构合理。
