改革开放30年以来,我国的经济社会发展迅速,政府着力加强推进城市化进程,超高层、高层建筑迅速得到发展,尤其是在2000年之后各大城市和地区,高层建筑越来越多。地震荷载作用与风荷载作用是高层结构设计主要的调节因素,所以,高层结构设计的首要任务是要充分保障结构构件的延性和强度,同时保证结构安全性也是充分保障结构构件的延性和强度的基础。任何一座高层建筑的结构设计,都应保证结构的经济性、合理性;又应使高层建筑具有足够的安全性,即具有足够的抗震和抗风的能力及具有足够的承载力和变形的能力。
