虽然人已生活在北京,徐龙森却给他的宅子注入了一席源自海派故地的文化记忆,八卷《丹渊集》随意被主人摆放在桌边信手可以触及的地方,《二十五史》、《古本山海经图说》、《中国古琴艺术》、《万里无云》、《生活的艺术》甚至《多情剑客无情剑》安适而悠闲的各得其所,桌几、地面、床头、架上,不是束之高阁、罔若虔诚的知识崇拜,书籍与徐龙森朋友般的共处,在安静私密的城市角落里,思想的乐趣和创造的快意成了这个空间的主宰。
