In industrial and civil buildings, there are two types of drainage methods: water downpipes and no-fall pipes (free drainage). For a long time, people used the annual rainfall and cornice height as the main basis for choosing the drainage method of the cornice. It is believed that when the wind is raining, the mouthwash easily wets the wall and enters the window, and the larger the wind, the higher the housing. The phenomenon is more serious and there are concerns about the practice of not setting down pipes. The author of this article, the associate professors of Xi’an Institute of Metallurgy and Architecture, Guangshi Kui and Xia Yun, conducted a large number of investigations and experimental work on the above issues. The analysis and study found that: the rinse water drainage in different regions, not
