2012年1月4日,新一年的第一个工作日,在位于北京西城区月坛南街26号院的中国工程机械工业协会会议室内迎来2012年第一次的人头攒动——“2011中国工程机械十大新闻”最终评审会议在这里举行。经过来自国家发展和改革委员会和中国工程机械工业协会的领导以及行业内主流媒体的主编们的热烈讨论和投票,“2011中国工程机械十大新闻”正式出炉。其中,《中国工程机械行业“十二五”规划》正式发布位列2011年十大新闻榜首。千呼万唤始出来,这项自2009年开始,由中国工程机械工业协会主推的工作终于在2011年7月以最终版本的形式呈现在世人面前。可以说,“十二五”期间,中国工程机械行业要往什么方向发展,都应该能够从这项《规划》中觅得踪影。全年市场走势、协会标准制定、出口创历史新高等其他9条新闻分别位列“2011中国工程机械十大新闻”的2～10位。中国工程机械十大新闻自1996年进行首届评选以来,已经成功举办了15届。该评选活动由中国工程机械工业协会主办,工程机械与维修杂志社承办,工程机械杂志社、今日工程机械杂志社、建设机械技术与管理杂志社、建筑机械化杂志社、慧聪工程机械网、中国工程机械商贸网、中国工程机械品牌网、第一工程机械网、机电商报社等行业内多家主流媒体共同承办,是中国工程机械行业最具权威性的新闻评选活动。
