我国古代人民是勤劳而智慧的,在漫长的岁月里,在与大自然和疾病斗争过程中积累了丰富的用药防治疾病的经验。早在先秦著作《诗经》、《山海经》和《五十二病方》等书中都记载了多种动植物药。正是在我国古代人民用药经验的基础上产生了我国现存最早的中药学专著一《神农本草经》(简称《本经》)。它是东汉以前直到远古时代我国人民积累的药物知识总结,是经过许多医药学家不断地补充、纂辑而成,并假托以“神农”之名。虽然《本经》的成书年代说法不一,但根据历代考证多认为至少当在公元一至二世纪。《本经》
