改革城市中学教育,有一个根本出发点,这就是要使学校成为无产阶级专政的工具,培养无产阶级革命事业接班人,逐步缩小三大差别,为无产阶级政治服务,为工农兵服务,与生产劳动相结合。城市中学究竟面向哪里,这是一个办学方向问题,如果不把这个问题解决好,就不知道朝哪个方向迈出步子。我们学校是一所城市中学,经过批林整风和批林批孔运动,逐步认识到城市中学也必须面向农村,并在这方面做了一些工作。最近,我们学习了毛主席关于理论问题的重要指示,学习了朝农的办学经验,使我们对这个问题的认识提到了一个新高度。

We have taken this new step to our understanding of this issue.
