以往食道静脉曲张出血常选择硬化剂疗法。它对于急性出血及治疗食道静脉曲张预防第二次出血有效,但发生并发症较多,有些是危险的。经内镜曲张静脉结扎术(Endoscopic Vanceal Ligation EVL)是于1986年首先在美国科罗拉多大学开展的。最近我所对18例门静脉高压食道静脉曲张及出血患者进行了EVL治疗,效果良好,报道如下:
