中央民族大学前身是 1 941年 1 0月在延安成立的民族学院。 1 951年 6月 1 1日 ,正式成立中央民族学院 ,首任院长乌兰夫。 1 993年 1 1月 3 0日更名为中央民族大学。它是中国少数民族教育的最高学府 ,是中国少数民族高级人才的摇篮 ,是中国唯一具有 56个民族师生员工的高等学校
The predecessor of the Central University for Nationalities was the Ethnic Institute established in Yan’an in January 1941. On January 11, 951, Ulanhu was formally established as the Central University for Nationalities with the first dean. January 1993 January 30 changed its name to the Central University for Nationalities. It is the highest institution of education for ethnic minorities in China, the cradle of high-level talents of ethnic minorities in China, and the only institution of higher learning that has 56 ethnic minority teachers and students in China
