一九九一年秋,从友人栾贵明先生处得知杨绛先生在重新校定她的《干校六书》和《将饮茶》,我们萌发了由我们重印这两本散文集校定本的念头。经联系,我和总编辑登门与杨绛先生面商。杨绛先生很怀疑这两本书是否还有销路,担心我们再出校定本会赔钱。我们一再说明根据我们的预测保本没有问题,杨绛先生便答应我们试试看。谁料我们在一九九二年二月出版了《干校六书》和《将饮茶》的校定本后,一时竟供不应求,初版一万册不到两个月便告罄,四月份不得不再印三万册。 由此次出书起始,我成了杨绛先生家里的常客。每次去,钱钟书先生、杨绛先生都是热情相待,
