宝石鲈又称澳洲宝石鲈,原产地在澳大利亚,是澳大利亚新近开发的淡水名贵养殖鱼类。我国于2001年夏初由青岛现代农业开发中心自澳大利亚的维多利亚引进了宝石鲈苗种,经8个月的试养,大都达到500克/尾的商品规格。实践证明,宝石钙鲈具有较强的可养优势,适合在我国养殖,是当前养殖前景看好的一尾淡水鱼优良品种。为满足国内水产养殖者的需要,现将宝石鲈养殖技术扼要介绍如下: Gem bass, also known as the Australian gem bass, origin in Australia, is Australia’s newly developed freshwater rare cultured fish.
