The need to build a metro network of three main lines - a regional line and two city lines - is the conclusion of a traffic study of the city of Cairo from 1970 to 1974. A 4.5km metro line is being constructed in the downtown business district (C.B.D.) so as to be respectively contiguous with two existing northeast southeast directions. B. This article discusses the construction of the second line in the network, which passes the high groundwater level area and the complex alluvial soil area. Described the construction of the city through the most crowded, the most densely populated part of the line is expected to use the construction method.
