深圳市田东中学位于深圳市盐田区美丽的梧桐山南麓、大鹏湾畔,倚山朝海,幽深静谧,是读书求学的好地方,学校创办于1996年秋,系一所公办初级中学;1998年秋开办职业高中,2001年开办普通高中;2008年8月,随着盐田区教育格局的调整,学校实行初高中分离办学,转而复办初级中学。学校现有初中三个年级45个班,近2000名学生,教职工近170人,其中高级教师62人,一级教师54人;博士1人,研究生25人;市级名优教师10余人,区级名师20余人。学校教育教学功能场室齐全,设施先进;校园占地面积40747平方米,建筑面积25597平方米,绿化面积14109平方米。
