On March 27, 2012, Zhang Lina (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences) was awarded the 2011 Anson Payne Award Ceremony in San Diego, USA. Anselm Payne Award was established by the American Chemical Society in 1962 and is specially awarded to those who made outstanding contributions in the field of international cellulose and renewable resources materials. 2011 is the 50th prize of the prize. Zhang Lina is the first Chinese to receive the award.
