互连网络,例如3-Dtorus拓扑结构,已成功应用于可扩展路由器的设计中.但是,3-Dtorus结构在实际应用时存在设计缺陷,扩展规模受到了限制.提出了一类新型的交换架构,称为蜂巢式路由器.基本蜂巢结构存在一些问题,通过引入镜像点可以有效解决,还给出线卡的具体设计方案.最后介绍了该架构下几类路由算法的设计.蜂巢结构表现出优秀的扩展能力和容错性,非常适合可扩展路由器的设计.
Interconnection networks, such as 3-Dtorus topology, have been successfully used in the design of scalable routers, however, there are some design flaws in the practical application of the 3-Dtorus structure and the scale of expansion is limited.A new type of switch fabric , Called the cellular router.However, there are some problems in the basic structure of the honeycomb, which can be effectively solved by introducing the mirror point, and the specific design scheme of the line card is also given.Finally, the design of several kinds of routing algorithms in this architecture is introduced.However, Scalability and fault tolerance are ideal for scalable router designs.
