生长延缓剂B—9又叫B—995、阿拉(Alar)—85,其化学名称是N,N—二甲氨基琥珀酰胺酸,对人畜无害。自从一九六二年发现它具有延缓植物生长的效应后,在果树、蔬菜和树木方面广泛地进行试验,取得良好的效果。花生是我省主要油料作物。要使花生获得高产,必需施给足够的肥料。但是,由于花生不象水稻那样,可以利用排水晒田去控制生长,如遇到高温多雨的季节,往往徒长,严重对植株倒伏,茎叶腐烂,导致减年。本试验就是针对这个问题,企图利用生长延缓剂B—9去抑制花生地上部分生长,即使在肥足、雨水多的条件下也不会徒长,增加产量。我们在一九七四年春植花生和秋植花生的试验中,都得到肯定的答案,只要用药时期和浓度恰当,是可以增产的。

As long as the period of application and the concentration are right, we can increase production.
