“三都运动”一名是刘元镇、袁在枢等于1951年在湖南资兴三都地质调查时,根据唐垄宋家屋后和同日垄河沟见唐垄组与杨梅垄组产状不一致的现象提出的。目前,对“三都运动”的看法有三种:1.角度不整合;2.假整合(三都上升);3.基本上是连续沉积。笔者长期在该区工作,从所获得的地层、古生物和构造方面的资料,认为“三都运动”应属整合。
