所谓性风俗,就是与性有关的一切风俗习惯,或者说,人们传承中的性行为和性意识,都属于性风俗的范畴。中国的性风俗的出现已相当久远。这一点,我们可以从神话中找到印证材料,山东武梁祠石刻中的伏羲和女娲为人首蛇躯,执规矩,举日月轮,其两尾相交。四川郫县东汉墓出土石棺刻有伏羲、女娲像,亦作人首蛇身,不同的是两脸相亲,引臂相依,两尾相交如圆璧。很显然,这里描绘的是性交图。虽说它不是以人作为对象进行刻画的,但反映了人们对性的认识。
