1985年中国汽车工业共生产汽车44万辆;消耗钢材218万吨,铸铁50万吨。消耗钢铁总量268万吨,占全国钢耗的3.3%。耗用进口钢材33.4万吨;占进口钢材总量的1.7%。中国钢材利用率平均为68.5%原材料费用占总成本的1/3。中国与先进工业国的汽车工业在国民经济中的比重(1928年～1985年间):中国汽车工业耗钢量占全国耗钢量的2.56～3.18%;美国占14.5～23.9%;
In 1985 China’s automobile industry produced a total of 440,000 cars, consumed 2.18 million tons of steel and 500,000 tons of cast iron. The total consumption of 2.68 million tons of steel, steel consumption accounted for 3.3% of the country. Consumption of 334,000 tons of imported steel; the total amount of imported steel 1.7%. China’s steel utilization averaged 68.5% of the total cost of raw materials costs 1/3.
