根据国家宗教局的统一部署,在江苏各级宗教工作部门的精心组织下,江苏省宗教界于9月17日至23日开展了“宗教慈善周”活动。经初步统计,全省共募集善款2080.7009万元,其中物资折款202.8636万元。以宗教活动场所为单位就近开展扶贫、济困、助残、救灾、养老、助学、支教、义诊等公益慈善活动3000多场次,共支出善款1742.3969万元,受益人数102853人。“慈善周”活动的开展,展现了宗教界大爱无疆的良好形象,彰显了当代宗教的社会价值,为全社会公益慈善事业的发展发挥了积极作
