依据《国境卫生检疫法》及其《实施细则》的有关规定,全国卫生检疫机关依法开展了艾滋病监测工作。从1985年截止到1998年3月底,全国各卫生检疫机关从入出境中外旅客中共查出HIV感染者及艾滋病人720例。其中中国籍旅客430例(大陆398例、台湾22例、香港8例、澳门2例),外国籍旅客290例。 同期全国的艾滋病流行情况据《健康报》
According to the relevant provisions of the “Frontier Health and Quarantine Law” and “Regulations”, the national health and quarantine authorities conducted AIDS surveillance according to law.
