一大班进驻穷国的科学家并不是为了医病而来。他们是将穷国的病人当作白老鼠,利用他们来测试以富裕国家为销售对象的药物。这种新的全球化制药趋势不单反映了科学资源的不平均分配,亦有侵犯人权及危害全球公众健康之嫌。
A large class of scientists stationed in poor countries is not for medical treatment. They treat their poor patients as white rats and use them to test drugs marketed in rich countries. This new globalized pharmaceutical trend not only reflects the uneven distribution of scientific resources, but also infringes on human rights and undermines the global public health.
