我最早认识潘汉年大约是在一九二四年我还在上海泰东图书局编辑部工作的时候,那时泰东编辑部已自原来的马霍路(今黄陂北路)德福里迁至贝勒路(今黄陂南路)。常到泰东编辑部来找创造社的爱好文学的青年,就我记得的有周全平、倪贻德、叶灵凤、潘汉年等,还有其他一些人,倪贻德和叶灵凤件上海美专的先后同学,而周全平和潘汉年则是江苏宜兴同乡。由于他们常来泰东,我也跟他们认识了。但他们四人中,除倪贻德已有一本小说集《玄武湖之秋》作为创造社丛书之一
