今年五月七日至二十六日,美国篮球专家汤姆·韦士文先生应邀前来我院讲学。在历时三周的教学训练中,对于篮球基本技术、战术及其教学与训练方法进行了深入细致的讲授。尤其是结合中国篮球运动员身体条件及速度快、灵巧的特点,着重讲授了快速进攻和快速防守两方面问题。专家认为,篮球运动中防守更为重要,防守好也能赢得一场比赛。当然不能否认进攻的作用。但是,在目前的情况下一般人都有重攻轻守的思想。因此,更有必要强调防守。有很好速度的球队可以用其速度来打紧逼防守,中国篮球运动员具备了这个条件,因此一定能打好紧逼防守。因为速度快能很快地互相补位,堵住防守的漏洞。其次,抓防守容易见效。美国男子篮球队在二十三届奥运会上以绝对的优势打败所有的对手(除对西德比赛胜16分外,其它各场比赛均赢20分以上),正是由于美国队具有强大的防守力量,这是美国队获胜的主要原因之一。在防守问题上韦士文围绕着快速全场人盯人防守,系统地介绍了防守的基本姿势,步法、选位、补位、防守战术、防守要点及其教学与训练方法。有其独到之处,也较符合我国国情,内容有一定深度和广度,值得我们借鉴。因此我们对专家讲学内容进行了综合整理。以供大家研究参考。
