前不久,20位享誉国际的华裔数学家,兴致勃勃地参观了广州大学城,并与大学生们进行交流。国际数学大师、世界数学最高奖“菲尔兹奖”得主丘成桐教授为大学生作专题讲座。奥数热却“当头一棒”:数学奥赛成就不了数学大国梦。得过奥数金牌差点难以毕业“奥数即使得金奖,也只能证明考试的能力,不代表就有研究能力。数学是做研究,研究的根本是找问题。奥数只训练别人的题目,而不知道去做自己的题目,”丘成桐说,“曾有几个国内顶尖大学的毕业生,得过奥数金奖,到我这里来,结果学问狭窄,考试还行,思考没能力,甚至都不能毕业。”
