2013年,中国粮食总产量首次突破6亿吨,粮食产量实现“十连增”。中国用9%的耕地和6%的水资源养活了占全世界21%人口,这一成就令世人瞩目。“十连增”的背后,化肥功不可没,但其危害也日益凸显。2014年5月25日,中央电视台新闻频道《焦点访谈》栏目的镜头对准了“被化肥‘喂瘦’的耕地”。化肥的过量使用导致了耕地土壤板结、酸化、地力下降等一系列问题。化肥越喂越多,土地越种越瘦,粮食安全与农业可持续发展已经受到严重威胁。化肥不可替代,但化肥必须转型的问题必须面对。
