根据1986年10月下旬至12月上旬中国科学院组织实施的西太平洋近赤道海域海洋-大气考察观测的水文气象资料,综合分析了1986年El Nio事件发生初期的海面水文气象等要素新呈现的不同特征,并与El Nio事件发生初期前的情况作一对比。结果表明:考察期间(El Nio事件发生初期),西太平洋近赤道海域,水文气象要素的分布变化特征与海洋环流和大气环流异常相互影响有关,可能是El Nio事件发生初期,西太平洋近赤道海域的暖水汇聚、迁移过程的一种特殊反映。
