最近,日本东京工业大学从事物质科学研究的永田和宏教授与石崎幸太郎研究员等人通过研究,开发出一种可以利用电子测距仪所使用的微波,从铁矿石里精制出纯度极高的生铁的新技术。用这种新技术来制铁的话,可以使所消耗的能源减少到原来的一半。
