Truth is one of the least controversial propositions in the propositions related to art standards from the past to the present. The meaning of the true standard of art should, in my opinion, include two aspects. One is to objectively and accurately represent the phenomenon and essence of the object. Another, more important aspect is the high degree of conformity between the spiritual orientation and the style of painting expressed in the work and the character and spirit of the author. Classic examples of this area, such as Van Gogh, such as Michelangelo and so on. If we put together their works and biography reading, we will find that they have a high degree of agreement in both. We can also find many examples of this standard in contemporary Chinese art circles, like Fang Lijun and Liu Xiaodong. A little earlier, outstanding representatives during the period of revolutionary realism, such as Wang style profile, and so on.
