Vocabulary is the cornerstone of language learning. For high school students, vocabulary is a manifestation of English ability, and even the amount of words is proportional to the level of English scores is not an exaggeration. Therefore, the accumulation of vocabulary is also very important. However, for many years, vocabulary teaching has not received the attention it deserved in high school English teaching. The mastery of vocabulary depends on the student’s own memorization of rote. There is no effective way to make the students feel miserable about the back word, often with a great effort, or with little success. This boring, inefficient vocabulary memory has dampened the confidence and determination of many students to learn English, so as to give up English learning.
