上颌窦炎的致病菌对传统的抗生素多耐药,常见的葡萄球菌尤著,故应致力于选用能提高抗生素效价的抗菌制剂,如蜜蜂胶即其中之一。作者以此作了试管试验及临床观察。从上颌窦冲洗液中选出金黄色葡萄球菌20株及表皮葡萄球菌10株,与蜜蜂胶及青霉素、链霉素等5种抗生素在试管内作了单独及联合应用的试验。最低抑菌浓度平均值分析表明,蜜蜂胶在轻度制菌剂量时即引起所观察的5种抗生素中的4种抗葡萄球菌效力增强;青、链霉素尤著,其最低抑菌浓度比单独应用时平均下降25~40倍,在抗药性葡萄球菌菌株更为明显。
