前言自保护管状焊丝是一种药粉在里、铁皮在外的药芯焊丝,施焊时,无需另加熔剂或气体保护,并具有受风力影响小、便于外场操作、抗锈能力强、效率高,以及易于实现焊接机械化和自动化等特点。在我国焊接材料中,自保护管状焊丝尚属空白,我们生产、使用、科研单位,遵照毛主席关于“中国应当对于人类有较大的贡献”的教导,在六机部第十一研究所革命委员会领导下,紧密协作,共同奋战,终于在改善φ3.2毫米梅花型自保护管状焊丝性能的同时,又研制了一种φ2.0毫米“σ”型自保护管状焊丝及携带式半自动焊机。为了在生产中对此两种焊丝作进一步考验,我们在中华造船厂“风涛”号万吨轮上进行了试用,并取得了初步效果。

In order to further test these two kinds of welding wires in production, we have tried out the 10,000-tonne wheel of Fengtao of China Shipyard and achieved initial results.
