回弹法是瑞士工程师施密特发明的,所以也称施密特锤法。它是通过测定混凝土表面硬度来推算抗压强度的一种结构混凝土现场检测技术。国外对这一技术的研究和应用已有四十多年的历史,虽然近20年不少国家竞先研制了各种新型的混凝土非破损检测现代化仪器和测试方法,但传统的回弹法仍然不失其在现场应用的优越性。其主要优点是:仪器构造简单、测试方法易于掌握、检测效率高、费用低廉,影响因素较少,因而特别适用于施工现场对结构混凝土的强度进行随机的、大量的检验。回弹法被国际学术界公认为是混凝土无损检测的基本方法之一。
The rebound method was invented by Swiss engineer Schmidt, so it is also called Schmidt hammering method.
