文静、漂亮的城里女子在京郊农村干起了养猪业。六年过去,从选种、配种,到接生、打针,灌药,她样样精通。8月盛夏,记者怀着好奇和敬佩的心情,来到位于顺义张镇的北京文德利畜牧养殖中心,采访了这位女猪倌儿——王文利。王文利一边带记者参观,一边介绍说:“我们刚搬过来一个星期,养殖中心占地50亩,有7排猪舍,种猪150头,商品猪存栏1000多头。现在中心的规模要比最初大3倍,种猪的数量是过去的30倍。”现在的王文利在圈里有了些名气,然而在这之前,她经历了艰难的跋涉、痛苦的摸索,走过了一段坎坷的人生旅程……
