笔者“四要素”之说及拙文《创论公关四要素》(载《公关世界》1996年第8期)“出笼”后,引起了一定反响。但由于可理解的原因,笔者所直接听到的多为赞许之词。感谢孙书第先生《画蛇添足》一文(载《公关世界》1996年第12期),使笔者听到了否定之声。但细读孙先生文章后,又在感谢之余,感到些许遗憾。——当然并不遗憾孙先生与笔者观点相左,而是遗憾孙先生文中错解或说误用了“要素”、“范畴”等概念,衍生出诸多与“三要素”、“四要素”之争无干的话题,其“画蛇添足”的文题与结语,用
