历来研究者多强调苏曼殊译作《拜伦诗选》对西方浪漫主义文学的引介贡献,以其对拜伦《哀希腊》《去国行》《赞大海》等诗作的翻译为核心,探讨其译作对近代文化启蒙和浪漫主义文学风尚的开创之功,展现了传统文学向现代转型的趋势与可行性。但由于强大的文学传统和沉重的现实语境,文学的现代转型亦面临种种微妙的困境。本文试从这个角度出发,以苏曼殊两首译诗《熲熲赤墙靡》和《去燕》为例,分析传统文学现代转型激流之下的暗礁和困境。
Historically, researchers have always stressed the contribution made by Su Manshu’s translation of The Byron’s Poems to Western Romantic literature, focusing on the translation of such poems as Bylan’s “Greece in Sadness”, “Going for the People’s Bank of China” and “Praising the Sea” Translated as a pioneering work on the enlightenment of modern culture and the romantic literary style, the translation shows the trend and feasibility of the transformation of traditional literature to the modern era. However, due to the strong literary tradition and the heavy reality context, the modern transformation of literature also faces various delicate dilemmas. This article tries to analyze the two reefs and dilemmas under the torrent of modern transformation in traditional Chinese literature from two perspectives.
